Appalachian Trails
The First Frontier Appalachian Trails is a trail system currently under construction in Eastern Kentucky. An eighteen County cooperative, FFAT aims to provide the very best rider experience by showcasing some of the most epic trail systems Eastern Kentucky has to offer.
Our trails are
Maintained & Marked
Up-kept and continuously maintained, our miles of adventure will be easily identifiable and conveniently located in an effort to provide the best trail experience possible. As this trail system is developed, we hope to offer each rider a memorable experience.
We will soon have
Permits for Purchase
Utilizing a permit purchasing system, we will soon have permits for trails available for purchase. Sales of these permits are used to fund the upkeep and maintenance of the trail systems along with further expansion of the trails.
Downloadable
Off-line Mapping
As we further develop these trails, downloadable maps will be made available for off-line use helping riders stay on course.
